In this episode, Shaunagh and Lily are joined by Katie, Student Engagement Project Officer from Student Services, and Kathryn from Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (CSASS) to mark North West Sexual Violence Awareness Week and highlight the importance of the Reclaim the Night March. 

Katie and Kathryn discuss the impact of sexual violence, the support services available to survivors, and the steps we can all take to create safer, more inclusive communities. We explore practical ways to advocate for change, including participation in the Reclaim the Night March and how to foster a culture of respect and consent.

Katie also shares insights into University of Chester initiatives, such as the RESPECT Project and Bystander Intervention Training, while Kathryn offers valuable information about CSASS’s approach to supporting survivors. This episode empowers listeners with knowledge, resources, and actionable steps to challenge violence against women and girls.
